I currently play rugby for Chico State. I have lately been learning a new position so I am a more versatile player. I play a position called "Lock", and I am learning how to play "8 man". Knowing more positions in any sport can guaranty more playing time for anyone! This can be extremely frustrating and sometimes it would be much easier to stay in the same position I am comfortable with, but I know the more I practice the more successful I will be!

Stacy P. I am very excited that you are learning to be more versitile in Rugby, I will try and catch a few games when I can!
I know exactly what you mean! I played basketball all four years of high school and played the small post position, but during the summer I played in a summer league and the coach told me that if I wanted to start I had to play the "3" position. I would find myself posting up on girls in the beginning when I should have been taking outside shots. In the end, I became quicker and developed a better shot...so you will learn, I have no doubt! :)
Two of my old roomates were on the Rugby team, that sport is crazy.
that comment above was me. whoops.
GO CHICO RUGBY!!!!!!
